Postnatal
Postnatal appointment at 1 week
During your one-week follow-up appointment after giving birth, Dr. Lai will check on your physical recovery from pregnancy and delivery for proper healing; discuss sexuality and contraceptives, nutrition, exercise, and any other needs or concerns you may have going forward.
Postnatal appointment at 6 weeks
During your postnatal appointment, about 6 weeks after you have given birth, Dr Lai will check your physical recovery from pregnancy and delivery to ensure proper healing; have a Pap smear, assess your emotional wellness, nutrition, exercise, and any other needs or concerns you may have going forward. Please inform the clinic staff if you are planning to have the IUCD inserted.
